Welcome to the annual TigerBoard.com Big XII Pick'em Contest! This year is a little different in that your confidence points will range from 1-8 and will be assigned to each team's home games. So, for example, for each of Missouri's home games, you will assign from 1-8 confidence points. You can only assign 8 confidence points to one home game for each team and so on. If you correctly predict the winner of the game, you will receive the points that you assigned to the game. If your prediction is wrong, you will recieve zero points. There is no penalty for an incorrect prediction. The person with the most points at the end of the season is the winner. How To PlayThis contest is open to all registered members of TigerBoard.com. If you aren't yet registered, it only takes a few minutes. Just visit the TigerBoard Registration Page and fill out the short form. Once you are registered, simply click on the Enter/Edit Your Picks link in the right column and follow the instructions there. It's as simple as picking the winner of the games and choosing how many points to wager on your pick. Check on your scores and such by clicking on the Your Contest Homepage link in the right column. Check on everyone's score by clicking on the Overall Scores link. The RulesThe first rule is to have fun. After that, just keep in mind that you may come back and change your picks and point wager at anytime upto gametime. Be sure to get your picks in early because no late picks will be accepted for any reason. Be sure you check your picks because no changes to your picks will be accepted after the deadline for any reason. In the event of a tie, a coin flip will be used to determine the winner. The PrizesWe don't have any prizes right now other than bragging rights. If you would like to donate a prize, please send an email to Nick at nick@tigerboard.com and let him know. Copious advertising can be provided in exchange for prizes. At the very least, we will offer free subscriptions to TigerBoard.com. While this would obviously thrill any true Mizzou fan, players from other schools might not be too impressed. So, if you can donate something, it would be most appreciated. The Other StuffNot much else to say but have fun and good luck! |
